Lapiz named U.S. Hispanic Agency of the Year at the 2013 El Ojo Awards.

LAPIZ USA was recently recognized as the U.S. Hispanic Agency of the Year at the 2013 El Ojo Awards in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The network won a total of seven honors - one Gold, four Silver and two Bronze awards at the ceremony. The highly prestigious Agency of the Year recognition came just after Chief Creative Officer Laurence Klinger was honored as the U.S. Hispanic Creative Director of the Year.

Lapiz wins 2 Golds in London.

The radio campaign Mujeres Latinas en Acción was awarded again in the London International Awards, the last big global creative show of the calendar year: Gold in Public Service Campaign and Gold in Best Scriptwriting. With Leo Burnett Worldwide's total of 10 Gold awards, Lapiz brings in 20% of the entire network gold.

Lapiz shares the luck of the Irish.

Well, more than luck: talent. Lapiz was awarded the only Gold Kinsale Shark Award in the radio campaign category. Another Gold Shark in the promo: best scriptwriting category, and a Bronze Shark again in the international radio campaign category. The trophies went to P&G’s Clearblue pregnancy test’s “Bed” and “Movie” (Gold: radio), and to Mujeres Latinas en Acción’s “Flower” and “Ring” (Gold: promo, Bronze: radio) The ceremony took place in the beautiful fishing village of Kinsale, Ireland.

Lapiz takes home Bronze at El Ojo de Iberoamérica

Lapiz was awarded a Bronze at El Ojo de Iberoamérica for their work for the Chicago Latino Film Festival, "Paternidad." The festival, held in Buenos Aires, recognizes the best work produced in Spanish and Portuguese.
