"This was no boat accident." - JAWS

This year Lapiz was awarded 2 Kinsale Shark Awards.

A Bronze Shark in the Ambient: Interactive Experience category, and a Bronze Shark again in the Digital: International Digital: Social Media category.

The trophies went to P&G’s Gain: Smell-O-Thon (Bronze: Ambient), and to Chicago Latino Film Festival: Check Away (Bronze: Digital).

The ceremony takes place in the beautiful fishing village of Kinsale, Ireland.

With ten awards, along with four shortlists, Lapiz was truly one of the big winners at the 2014 Wave Festival in Rio, Brazil. We're thrilled to have taken so many awards home. Here are the winners:

Lapiz named U.S. Hispanic Agency of the Year at the 2013 El Ojo Awards.

LAPIZ USA was recently recognized as the U.S. Hispanic Agency of the Year at the 2013 El Ojo Awards in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The network won a total of seven honors - one Gold, four Silver and two Bronze awards at the ceremony. The highly prestigious Agency of the Year recognition came just after Chief Creative Officer Laurence Klinger was honored as the U.S. Hispanic Creative Director of the Year.

The radio campaign Mujeres Latinas en Acción was awarded again in the London International Awards, the last big global creative show of the calendar year: Gold in Public Service Campaign and Gold in Best Scriptwriting. With Leo Burnett Worldwide's total of 10 Gold awards, Lapiz brings in 20% of the entire network gold.

Lapiz won GOLD at the HAPE (Hispanic Advertising Planning Excellence) awards at the AHAA conference for being part of developing the first ever bilingual Latino infused Rolling Stone magazine in the US.
